Psychiatrist
Stacey Russell, MD is a psychiatrist focused on holistic, spiritual, and integrative psychiatry, licensed to see patients who live in Texas or Oklahoma. She attended UT Health Science Center San Antonio for Medical School and completed a 4-year residency in psychiatry at UTMB in Galveston.
Dr. Russell's expertise consists of depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance use, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. She uses a whole-body approach to treating mental illness, focusing on true healing so you are not on a “subscription drug program." She addresses the root cause of your illness and develops a unique, patient specific treatment plan. In order to achieve intended results, she combines various treatment modalities, including medication management, supplements, psychotherapy, nutrition, exercise, extensive lab work, eastern medicine, and spiritual development. She also provides talk therapy in addition to medication management, helping you avoid multiple appointments with different providers, as well as dietary and exercise plans.
Patients include busy professionals who want to target multiple areas of their health while using their time efficiently. Therefore, Dr. Russell offers flexible, early morning appointments, so you can take care of your health but not interrupt your busy workday.
A native Texan, Dr. Russell is married to a former firefighter who now teaches middle school history. They love spending time with their four children on their farm raising pigs, chickens, and ducks.
